THE MISSION STATEMENT
We assemble ordinary believers across Houston into trained teams that meet urgent physical needs and stay for the slower work of healing — then hand the relationship back to the local church.
Two verbs from Acts 10:38 became our two branches. Doing goodis the immediate response — food, shelter, clothing, a hospital chair, a truck at 6am. Healing is the part nobody films: a marriage rebuilt, a pastor who does not quit, a girl who stops believing what the feed says about her. Most organizations pick one. The verse does not.
THE NAME
Why a tactical metaphor for a ministry.
A SWAT team is not the police force. It is called when a situation exceeds what the ordinary shift can handle, it arrives with specialists, it stabilizes, and then it leaves. That is precisely our relationship to the local church — we are never the church, and we never stay.

Called, not self-deployed
A pastor, school counselor, agency, or family asks. We do not decide a neighborhood needs us.
02 · CONVERGE
Specialists converge
Nurses, contractors, cooks, notaries, filmmakers — matched to the actual need, not to a volunteer slot.
03 · STABILIZE
Stabilize the situation
Immediate danger and immediate lack are handled first. Everything else waits its turn.
04 · HAND BACK
Hand it back and leave
The local church keeps the relationship. Our exit is the measure of success, not our headcount.

The church stays central
We never plant a competing congregation, never ask anyone to leave their church, and never take credit that belongs to a local pastor.
No paperwork to begin
A person asking for help gets a human being on the phone first. Forms come later, if at all.
Consent before story
No photograph, film, or written story is published without written permission — asked once before recording and again before release.
Money is traceable
Designated gifts go where they were designated. Our Form 990 and financials are published, not requested.
Small and finishable
We take on fewer commitments than we could fill, so the ones we take get finished.
Your church is your station. We just help you deploy from it.
